About Me

Hey there — I’m Lina Maher, the person behind TastePro.net.

I never planned to become that friend who’s always cooking — trust me. Growing up, meals were simple, sometimes messy, often improvised. I burned my first cake at age 12 (literally), and more than once substituted sugar with salt (oops). But every misstep taught me something: that good flavor often comes from curiosity, a little boldness… and a lot of patience.

TastePro started one evening when I was trying to recreate my grandma’s tagine, but couldn’t find her exact recipe. I ended up mixing what I remembered, tasting, adjusting, failing, tasting again. I realized that the magic of cooking isn’t only in perfection — it’s in the small moments: when your kitchen smells like warm spices, or you finally nail that caramel color, or someone licks the spoon.

Here, you’ll find recipes that are approachable, heartfelt, and sometimes a bit imperfect — because I believe that cooking should feel like a friend guiding you over your shoulder, not a chef staring you down. Whether you’re making your first omelette, exploring vegan dishes, or trying your hands at decadent desserts — I’m right there with you, often with flour on my shirt, usually with a kitchen timer going off somewhere in the background.

When I’m not doing recipe experiments, you’ll probably find me mid‑scroll through food memoirs, hunting for local produce at the market, or watching failed baking videos (because learning from “what went wrong” is half the fun).

Thanks for being here. I hope TastePro becomes your go‑to place when you want meals that comfort, challenge, and surprise you — all at once.
